BIGGEST JOKER AWARD – Tomo Rich

BladeRun veteran Tomo is no stranger to having some fun on the BladeRun with anything from loud Miami Vice, or maybe even charity shop, floral shirts, and this year’s new addition – the kilt! I can honestly say that, so long as I live, there is very little chance I will see a man doing a back ‘flop’ in a kilt from the deck of a Fairline in the English channel – screaming BladeRuuuuunn!

In the lead up to every BladeRun, with no exceptions, there is always a massive song and dance in getting boats ready and running for the start of a BladeRun. Every year there are a raft of things that happen to deter only determined of characters. This years award went to Daniel, legend and close friend, and his crew for working through four nights solidly leading up to the BladeRun. He missed the start on Friday – but joined us in the evening and for the run back to Southampton on day 2. Dan, a big thank you for your commitment to BladeRun and good luck with Team Velocity in P1 Supersport.
